NOT JUST WINDOW FILM
SECURITY WINDOW FILM
Most security window film is a sheet stuck to the glass, and unanchored film can be kicked out of the frame in one piece. Every Fortified level anchors the film to the frame, and our higher levels add an optically clear hardening layer, so the whole opening holds.
WHY SECURITY WINDOW FILM ALONE ISN'T ENOUGH
Security window film does one job well: it holds broken glass together. But film that stops at the edge of the glass isn't attached to anything. Under repeated blows, the cracked pane stays in one sheet and can be kicked or pushed out of the frame in one piece. The opening is breached even though the film never tore.
That's why every Fortified level, starting with Delay, anchors the film to the frame. Delay meets ASTM F3561 Level 2 on single-pane glass and Level 3 on dual pane. Our Protect and Fortify levels add an optically clear hardening layer glazed to the opening and meet ASTM F3561 Level 8, so the glass resists being broken through, not just pushed out.
HOW OUR SECURITY WINDOW HARDENING SYSTEM WORKS
Base Glass
1/8" single pane, 1/4" laminated or dual pane. Your glass sets how far the system can perform.
Security Film
A clear security film bonded to the glass holds it together when struck. It's the base of every level.
Frame Anchoring
Included at every level, including Delay. The film is mechanically anchored to the frame so the pane can't be kicked out in one piece.
Hardening Layer
Added at Protect and Fortify. An optically clear layer glazed to the opening that takes forced-entry resistance to ASTM F3561 Level 8.
Flexible Project Planning
Protection can be phased or varied by area according to need and budget.
INSTALLATION
PROFESSIONAL SECURITY WINDOW FILM INSTALLATION
Every Fortified system is installed by our own trained team. We don't sell film for others to apply, because anchoring the film to the frame is where most DIY and low-bid installs fall short.
We start with a site assessment of every opening: glass type and thickness, frame condition, and your risk priorities. We then recommend the right level for each opening and tell you plainly what it will and won't do. Installation is scheduled around your operations, including evenings, weekends and school breaks, and ends with a walkthrough and documentation of what was installed where.
Looking for security window film installers near me? Fortified installs throughout the United States. We have local reps who can typically be on site in just a few days, and our install teams are regionally located.
FORCED ENTRY AND BALLISTIC
WHAT ABOUT BULLETPROOF WINDOW FILM?
No window film is bulletproof, and unanchored film can be kicked out in one piece. Every Fortified level starts with film anchored to the frame: Our Fortify level with its optically clear hardening layer added meets ASTM F3561 Level 8. Ballistic resistance also depends on the right base glass, and our Fortify level is independently tested to NIJ Level 2 and UL 752 Level 3 standards for qualifying glazing systems.
Your existing glass matters. A 1/8" single pane gives the system little to work with, while 1/4" laminated or dual-pane glass gives it far more. That's why every project starts with an assessment, and why we may recommend pairing the system with a glass upgrade for higher protection levels.

PROTECT THE WHOLE OPENING, NOT JUST THE GLASS
A free site assessment tells you exactly how your current glass and frames will perform, and what it takes to harden them. Our team will identify vulnerable openings and build a plan that may combine DELAY, PROTECT and FORTIFY throughout the same facility.
